Biography
Sophomore post player and returning letterwinner ready to vie for major minutes this winter . . . Played extensively as a true freshman last year and should really benefit from the experience gained . . . Can flourish in UCO’s up-tempo attack with her ability to run the floor and doesn’t back down in physical battles under the basket.
2012-13: Started seven times while playing in every game and shot a team-high 48.0 percent from the field in averaging 5.5 points per game . . . Added 2.4 rebounds a contest and also blocked 14 shots . . . Scored 10-plus points six times, topped by impressive 16-point outing on 8-of-11 shooting from the field in road upset of Pittsburg State in UCO’s first-ever MIAA game . . . Started six straight games early in the season, averaging 6.8 points and 3.0 rebounds a contest during that stretch . . . Shot 50 percent or better 14 times . . . Scored 12 points against both Truman State and Northeastern State while hitting a combined 9-of-18 shots.
High School: All-Conference and All-State selection as a senior at Mustang High School . . . Averaged 12 points and seven rebounds a game in leading the Broncos to the Class 6A state tournament.
