Hard-throwing senior hurler who has a chance to be one of the top relievers in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Has been a part-time starter the past two seasons, but is set to be the main closer in 2014 and should flourish in that role . . . Superb athlete and fierce competitor ready to end his career in style . . .  Saw limited playing time for the Bronchos in 2010 and sat out the following year before returning to the mound in 2012 . . . Four-year football letterman and two-year starter at UCO, finishing his career as the school’s all-time leader in passes completed (478) and attempted (835) while ranking third in yards (4,851). 

2013:  Went 3-1 with five saves and a 3.41 earned run average while pitching in 12 games with two starts to earn honorable mention All-MIAA acclaim . . . Gave up just one earned run and struck out season-best six in season-high six innings during no-decision start against Northeastern State . . . Picked up saves in four consecutive appearances against Lincoln, Arlington Baptist, Missouri Western and Central Missouri, allowing only four hits and two runs in that 6 2/3-inning span . . . Other save game in 2 1/3-inning outing against Truman State . . . Earned wins in relief against Emporia State, Oklahoma Christian and Washburn.

2012:  Pitched in 12 games with three starts, going 3-1 with a 5.24 ERA . . . Had 21 strikeouts in 22 1/3 innings and walked just five . . . Earned win in start against Arlington Baptist, allowing two unearned runs in season-high 5 1/3 innings . . . Fanned seven and gave up one run in 4 2/3 innings to gain victory over Austin College . . . Other win came in 3 1/3-inning relief stint against Oklahoma Christian.

2010:  Appeared in just four games and didn’t earn a decision, finishing with a 14.54 ERA in 4 1/3 innings.

High School:  Honorable mention All-Stater in baseball as a senior at Eufaula High School . . . All-District, All-Area MVP and All-State pick in football and also an All-Conference selection in basketball.

Personal:  Kinesiology major . . . Names the Dallas Cowboys as his favorite team . . . Birthdate is Aug. 10, 1990.
