Biography

Returning starter looking to fill the main role at third base this spring . . . Versatile senior capable of playing multiple positions and is ready for a big season . . . Had a solid junior campaign and should be even more of an offensive threat in 2012 . . . Played two years in junior college and then took a year off before joining the Bronchos last season.

2011:  Played in 43 games with 40 starts, the majority of those (31) coming at shortstop . . . Also saw action at third base and second base and finished with 87 assists, second-most on the team . . . Hit .287 with eight doubles, two triples, two home runs and 22 runs batted in . . . Had 13 multi-hit games, with six of those coming in the final 11 games of the season . . . Put together a nine-game hitting streak late in the year, hitting .378 (14-for-37) with two doubles, both homers, a triple and seven RBI during that stretch.

Juco:  Played two years at Rose State College . . . Hit .329 with seven doubles and 22 RBI as a freshman in 2008 and batted a team-high .367 with 12 doubles, six homers, three triples and 43 RBI in 2009.

High School:  Product of Choctaw High School.

Personal:  A general studies major . . . Names the Texas Ranges as his favorite professional team . . . Lists “61*” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Oct. 18, 1988.
