Biography
Senior veteran and fantastic outside shooter who has been a key player for the Bronchos throughout his career . . . Can either start or come off the bench and provides instant offense with his shooting range . . . Under-rated as a defender and a smart, heads-up player who doesn’t make mistakes on the court . . . Has shot 40.5 percent from 3-point range during his career, having knocked down 123 treys while playing in 86 games with 23 starts the past three years.
2010-11: Earned honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference North Division recognition after averaging 9.9 points and 2.7 rebounds a game while making 41 3-pointers . . . Played in 31 games with seven starts, missing three contests in late January to injury . . . Scored in double figures 16 times, highlighted by a trio of 18-point outings . . . Was LSC North Division Offensive Player of the Week after leading a balanced UCO attack with 14.0 points on 50.0 percent (5-of-10) shooting from 3-point range in two games at the South Central Challenge in Las Vegas . . . Made at least one trey in 22 games and had three or more in five.
2009-10: Played in all 29 games with 11 starts and averaged 11.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists a game while shooting 50.0 percent from the field . . . Tied for the team lead in 3-pointers with 64, hitting 43.0 percent of his long-range attempts to finish second in the LSC. . . Was also eighth in the league in 3-pointers per game (2.3) . . . Scored in double figures in 18 games, going over the 20-point mark five times . . . Opened the season with a career-high 33-point outing against Emporia State, hitting 10-of-12 shots with eight treys and all five free throw tries . . . 2008-09: Played in 26 games with five starts as a rookie, averaging 4.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists a game . . . Shot 48.6 percent from 3-point range, hitting 18-of-37 from beyond the arc . . . Made five treys and scored a season-high 19 points in home rout of East Central.
High School: All-Conference, Oklahoman Big All-City and an All-Stater as a senior at Mustang High School . . . Averaged 19.7 points and 9.6 rebounds a game his final season . . . Also lettered in soccer and track.
