2011 Women's Volleyball Roster
Biography
Division I transfer returning to the court after a year off who has a chance to step in and become the team’s top setter . . . Started at Maryland-Eastern Shore as a true freshman in 2009 before sitting out last year, but this gifted sophomore will be a factor in 2011 . . . Smart, heads-up player with a great presence on the court and is an outstanding defender . . . Also a good server who can provide ample offense from the back row.
UMES: Started throughout the 2009 season for the Hawks, helping the team to a 24-7 record . . . Averaged 10.14 assists a set in finishing with a team-high 1,004 while adding 184 digs, 43 kills, 32 service aces and 23 assisted blocks.
High School: Earned All-District recognition three straight years at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas while leading her team to three consecutive regional tournament berths . . . Alternate All-State selection as a senior . . . Also lettered in track.
Personal: A pre-vet major . . . Has four sisters . . . Enjoys ready, cooking and watching movies as her top hobbies . . . Birthdate is Oct. 30, 1990.
