Biography

Returning letterman looking to help out on the mound this season . . . Can start if needed, but is expected to see most of his action in middle relief . . . Senior veteran with three solid pitches at his disposal and is expected to be a key contributor.

2010:  Appeared in 17 games, second-most on the team, and finished 1-5 with a 7.80 earned run average . . . Made four starts and came on in relief the other 13 games . . . Earned the win in 4 2/3-inning relief stint against Science and Arts of Oklahoma, striking out a season-high five . . . Went a season-high 5 2/3 innings in start against Southwestern Oklahoma and had a pair of 5 1/3-inning outings, including one in relief against Tarleton State when he allowed just four hits and one run.

Juco:  Played two years at Connors State College.

High School:  Three-time All-Conference pick at Chickasha High School, earning MVP honors as a senior . . . Went 10-3 with a 1.59 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 74 1/3 innings his final year in leading the Fighting Chicks to a state runner-up finish and also threw a perfect game.

Personal:  A physical education major . . . Names the New York Yankees as his favorite professional team . . . Lists “For Love of the Game” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Nov. 3, 1988.
