Biography
Team leader and experienced senior back to fill a starting role at middle blocker for the fourth straight year . . . Has been a consistent performer throughout her stellar career and gives the Bronchos great strength at the net . . . Outstanding leaper who is a big-time scoring threat, both as a blocker and with her hitting ability . . . Has 246 career assisted blocks, needing 55 more to move into the top-five on UCO’s all-time list.
2009: Started every match and hit a solid .251 with 152 kills while adding a team-high 88 total blocks and 124 digs . . . Had 10-kill outings against both Missouri Southern and Abilene Christian, hitting .389 in the MSSU bout . . . Hit .300 or better in 10 matches, going over the .400 mark in six contests . . . Had eight kills and just one error in 15 attacks for a .467 attack percentage in sweep of Tarleton State . . . Blocked four-plus shots in nine matches, collecting a season-high six in late-season win over Cameron . . . Made a career-high 18 digs against East Central.
2008: Played in 125 of 129 sets, finishing second on the team with 62 total blocks while adding 150 kills and 97 digs . . . Had a pair of double-digit kill matches, collecting a career-high 12 while hitting .391 against Tarleton State and getting 10 vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville . . . Hit .421 with eight kills and no errors in 19 attacks against Missouri Western . . . Made a season-high five blocks in three-game rout of Angelo State.
2007: Took over a starting role early as a true freshman and went on to finish second on the team in total blocks (120) while hitting .245 with 213 kills . . . Ranked fourth in the Lone Star Conference in total blocks and was fifth in blocks per set (1.0) . . . Made at least four blocks in 16 matches, with a season-high nine coming in national tournament loss to Nebraska-Kearney . . . Had a trio of 11-kill outings and hit .300 or better in 14 matches.
High School: Four-year starter at large-school powerhouse Tulsa Union High School, helping the team make one state finals appearance . . . All-State selection as a senior.
Personal: A political science major . . . Names the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder as her favorite professional teams . . . Birthdate is July 8, 1988.
