Biography
Sophomore outside hitter who will battle for extended playing time this season . . . Saw considerable action last year and showed great progress, with even more improvement expected this fall . . . Multi-talented athlete who can play either the left or ride side for the Bronchos . . . Is coming off summer surgery, but should be back to full strength and will definitely be a main contributor.
2009: Played in 24 matches, finishing with 98 kills and 18 total blocks . . . Had a season-high 11 kills in early-season match against Southeastern Oklahoma, adding three assisted blocks in that contest . . . Had five-plus kills in 11 other matches, including back-to-back eight-kill efforts in wins over Arkansas Tech and Eastern New Mexico . . . Hit .333 with six kills and no errors in 18 attacks in four-set win over Texas A&M-Kingsville.
High School: All-Conference MVP and an All-State pick as a senior at Owasso High School . . . Earned state tournament MVP honors her final year after leading the Rams to the championship.
Personal: A business major . . . Enjoys a variety of outdoor activities as her top hobbies . . . Names ‘‘Love and Basketball” as her favorite sports movie . . . Sister (Kayli) played volleyball at Lone Star Conference rival Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Birthdate is March 31, 1991.
