Biography

Only fifth-year player on the team, an experienced veteran and team leader prepared to finish his stellar career in style . . . Speedy senior and a three-year starter in the outfield who has been a key offensive catalyst throughout his career . . . Can play any of the three outfield positions and is a fierce competitor capable of hitting for both power and average . . . Has played in 131 games with 114 starts the last three years and enters the season having started 77 consecutive games . . . Put together a 20-game hitting streak from the end of his sophomore year through the beginning of last year . . . Could work his way into the top-five in several career school statistical categories.

2010:  Was one of just two players to start all 42 games, getting 30 starts in center field, seven in right and five in left . . . Hit .266 with nine doubles, five home runs and 31 runs batted in while scoring a team-high 33 runs . . . Had seven multi-hit games and drove in multiple runs in eight contests . . . Batted .563 (9-for-16) with two doubles, 10 RBI and seven runs during one torrid four-game stretch . . . Had a pair of six-game hitting streaks . . . Went 3-for-5 with four RBI in win over Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Keyed season-ending win over Northeastern State with a 2-for-4, two-RBI outing.

2009: 
Missed the first 13 games with injury, but went on to lead the team with a .382 average . . . Had 15 doubles, four home runs and 34 RBI while scoring 51 runs in 42 games . . . Also drew a team-high 30 walks in finishing with a team-leading .497 on-base percentage. . . Struggled at the start and was hitting just .160 (4-for-25) after his first nine games before going on a .434 tear (46-for-106) the rest of the season . . . Had 14 multi-hit games and put together a pair of 14-game hitting streaks . . . Ended the season with the second of those lengthy streaks, batting .537 (22-for-41) with 23 runs and 16 RBI in that stretch . . . Was named LSC Hitter of the Week after going 6-for-10 (.600) with eight RBI and five runs in a four-game series with Eastern New Mexico.

2008:  Played in 47 games with 33 starts . . . Batted .311 with seven doubles, four homers, three triples and 19 RBI . . . Scored 33 runs and was 14-for-14 in steals while also drawing 22 walks . . . Had 10 multi-hit games and put together hitting streaks of seven and nine games.

2007:  Sat out a redshirt year.

High School: 
Three-year starter at Stillwater High School . . . All-Conference selection in both baseball and football for the Pioneers.

Personal: 
A physical education major looking to become a coach. . . Has five brothers and sisters . . . Birthdate is Feb. 10, 1988.
