Biography
Junior transfer who should have an immediate impact on the Lone Star Conference this season . . . Part-time starter the past two years at Division I Texas-San Antonio, an experienced wing player with great shooting range . . . Quality rebounder and superb defender expected to fill a starting berth and is poised for a big season.
UTSA: Played in 53 games with 19 starts the past two years in helping the Roadrunners go 47-19 and make back-to-back national tournament appearances . . . Started five of 31 games as a freshman in 2007-08, averaging 8.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals a game while shooting 35.4 percent (56-of-158) from 3-point range . . . Played in 22 games with 14 starts last year, making 55 treys and shooting 84.4 percent (27-of-32) from the free throw line in averaging 10.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals a contest . . . Made the Southland Conference Tournament all-tournament team last year as UTSA won the title and was also named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
High School: Led Weatherford High School to a 27-0 record and the Class 4A state championship as a senior, earning MVP honors in the state tournament . . . Averaged 17 points a game and was an All-State selection her final year.
