Biography
Two-year letterwinner who saw plenty of action at libero last year . . . Should benefit from the experience gained in 2008 and will definitely push for more time on the back row this season . . . Good athlete with superb defensive instincts who showcases great ball control.
2008: Led the team in digs with 374 while playing in 31 matches and 90 games . . . Ranked seventh in the Lone Star Conference in digs per game (4.16) . . . Had 10-plus digs in 17 matches, including four outings with 30 or more . . . Made 64 digs in back-to-back matches, following a 30-dig performance against Washburn with a career-high 34 vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville . . . Also had 32 digs in win over Cameron and 31 against Missouri Western . . . Had a career-high three service aces along with 19 digs against Texas-Permian Basin . . . Put together a string of eight straight matches with 10 or more digs.
2007: Played in 10 matches, making 15 digs . . . Had eight digs, an assist and her lone service ace of the season in a three-game rout of Southern Nazarene.
2006: Sat out a redshirt year.
High School: Three-sport standout at Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa . . . Helped lead the Comets to the Class 5A volleyball state title as a senior while also lettering in basketball and track.
Personal: A physical education major looking to become a teacher . . . Enjoys shopping as her favorite off-court activity . . . Birthdate is May 23, 1988.
