Former UCO standout back for his senior season after a three-year layoff . . . Was one of the best pitchers in the Lone Star Conference while with the Bronchos in 2005 and then sat out the last three years before opting to return to school . . . Right-handed power pitcher with good command of three pitches who doesn't appear to show any affects of the layoff . . . Is expected to be one of the team's top starters and return to the form he showed in 2005.

2005:  Second-team All-LSC North Division pick after going 8-1 with a 3.56 earned run average . . . Pitched in 16 games with 11 starts and had five complete-game outings . . . Was 5-0 with a 2.57 ERA in those five games, giving up just 16 runs in 35 innings while striking out 29 batters . . . Had five-plus strikeouts in five games, with a high of nine against Northeastern State . . . Struck out 59 and walked just 23 in 83 1/3 innings on the season.

NSU:  Started his college career at Northeastern State, spending the 2002 and '03 seasons with the RiverHawks . . . Was LSC North Division Freshman of the Year in 2002 after going 4-3 with a 3.21 ERA, striking out 35 in 47 2/3 innings with three complete games . . . Went 3-6 with a 6.71 ERA as a sophomore in 2003, then sat out a year before coming to UCO for the 2005 season.

High School:  Prep standout at Putnam City North High School, going 4-2 with a 2.30 ERA and 78 strikeouts as a senior.

Personal:  A business marketing major . . . Lists Tom Glavine as his favorite sports star . . . Birthdate is April 12, 1983.
