Senior starter back to anchor the offensive line at center . . . Intelligent player and team leader who has experienced great success at every level . . . Was a steady, consistent presence on the blocking wall last year and will be even more effective in 2008.

2007:  Came in as a junior college transfer and immediately earned a starting role at center, staying there all year . . . Was UCO’s most consistent blocker and picked up second-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division recognition.

Juco:  Helped lead Diablo Valley (Calif.) College to a conference title and its first two bowl wins in over 20 years.

High School:  Football product of national power De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif . . . Won back-to-back national championships as a junior and senior after helping guide the team to consecutive perfect seasons.

Personal:  A general studies major who wants to become a coach . . . Enjoys hunting and working on cars . . . Birthdate is Nov. 22, 1985.
