Returning starter on defensive line who is battling to retain his position atop the depth chart at nose tackle . . . Picked up valuable experience last year and should be even more of a force in the trenches this fall . . . Redshirted in 2003 and saw limited action on offensive line in 2004 before switching to defense . . . Also a wrestling standout for the Bronchos.

2005: Played in all 10 games and had a solid season in collecting 14 tackles . . . Had season-high four tackles against West Texas A&M . . . Heavyweight All-American who helped UCO to a fourth-place national wrestling finish . . . Joined the team in December and finished with a 12-8 record, winning the Midwest Regional title and placing sixth in the national tournament to earn All-America honors.

2004: Saw limited time on offensive line, then moved to defense in the spring.

2003: Redshirted in football while also starting at heavyweight for UCO's wrestling team . . . Finished 16-10 on the year with six falls, just missing a trip to the national tournament with a fifth-place finish in the Midwest Regional.

High School: Football-wrestling star at Westmoore High School . . . District Defensive Player of the Year as a senior after recording 78 tackles and also a state champion on the mat as a senior.

Personal: A finance major . . . Father (John) was a three-year wrestling letterman at UCO in the late 1970s . . . Has four brothers with two of them (Dustin and Patrick) also on the football roster . . . Birthdate is Feb. 9, 1984.
