Senior hurler who will vie for a spot in the starting rotation, though he could also be used in late relief . . . Picked up valuable experience last year and has the ability to really help the Bronchos this season . . . Right-hander with a variety of off-speed pitches along with a good fastball.

2008:  Appeared in 13 games with six starts, finishing 3-4 with a 6.97 earned run average . . . Pitched in relief his first five games, then made six straight starts before coming out of the bullpen in his final two appearances . . . Earned Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week honors after a dominating complete-game nine-inning performance against Southwestern Oklahoma, tossing a masterful one-hit shutout in a 6-0 win while striking out eight . . . Picked up first win with one-inning relief stint in season-opener against Arkansas-Monticello and other victory was against Angelo State in a 5 2/3-inning start.

Juco:  Played at North Central Texas and Seminole State College.

High School:  Highly-decorated prep standout at Edmond North High School who was inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame . . . Three-time Edmond Sun All-City pick and also earned Oklahoman Big All-City and All-State accolades as a senior . . . Member of the Oklahoma Senior Sunbelt squad.
