Biography
Vital part of the defense as the team’s top goalkeeper and will end her career as one of UCO’s all-time leaders in saves . . . Took over a full-time starting role last year and produced a solid season between the posts . . . Has the experience and knowledge to excel at the position and the Bronchos are looking for a big senior year from this team leader . . . Ranks third on UCO’s career saves list with 160, needing 18 to move into second and 93 to break the record.
2010: Appeared in 19 games with 14 starts and recorded 87 saves, the second-most in school history . . . Made a career-high 12 saves against Abilene Christian, which ranks as the fifth-best game on UCO’s list . . . Also had 10 saves against Incarnate Word and rejected five or more shots in nine other games . . . Went the distance in all 14 starts and posted one shutout, a 1-0 victory over Northeastern State while making five saves.
2009: Appeared in five games with three starts, making nine saves on the season while giving up seven goals . . . Went the distance in a 6-0 shutout of Texas A&M International.
2008: Played in 14 games with 13 starts and made 64 saves while giving up 16 goals . . . Went the distance in 11 games and posted five shutouts, including 1-0 wins over Lone Star Conference rivals Texas A&M-Commerce and Eastern New Mexico . . . Also had a 3-0 shutout of Texas Woman’s and was between the posts for a pair of scoreless double-overtime ties . . . Was named LSC Goalkeeper of the Week after making 13 saves in back-to-back road shutouts of TWU and A&M-C . . . Made a season-high eight saves in 3-1 win over East Central, stopped seven shots against TWU and had a trio of six-save outings.
High School: All-District and All-State performer as a senior at Bixby High School . . . Led the Spartans to the state semifinals as a junior and had a 0.73 goals-against average as a senior while not giving up a goal in district play . . . Also lettered in volleyball and track.
Personal: A humanities major . . . Senior class valedictorian as a senior at BHS . . . Lists Manchester United as her favorite professional team . . . Enjoys writing as a main hobby . . . Names “Remember the Titans” as her top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Sept. 2, 1990.
