WACO, Texas – Central Oklahoma continues to receive votes in the AFCA coaches' poll released Tuesday.
The Bronchos are 1-0 on the season and coming off a bye week. UCO is the second team out of the AFCA Top 25, receiving 52 points in the poll of coaches from around the country.
This week, Central Oklahoma plays at Central Arkansas on Saturday night. The Bronchos are playing a Division I opponent for the first time since 2011. UCA, based in Conway, Arkansas, is 1-1 on the season.
Central Oklahoma will make its MIAA debut next Saturday at Washburn in Topeka, Kansas and then opens the gates to Chad Richison Stadium for the first time this season against No. 7 Northwest Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 26. Kickoff of the home opener, which is also Homecoming, is set for 7 p.m.
