UCO Launches Broncho Athletic Club

New Giving Society Serves As Official Fundraising Arm And Booster Organization

EDMOND – University of Central Oklahoma Vice President for Athletics Stan Wagnon announced Thursday in partnership with the UCO Foundation the development of a new giving society – the Broncho Athletic Club.

The Broncho Athletic Club will serve as the official fundraising arm and booster organization to propel the Bronchos into a bright future while deepening partnerships with Central's most loyal supporters.

"UCO Athletics plays a vital role in distinguishing Central as a leader among Oklahoma universities. We connect communities, showcase our campus, strengthen the university brand, and inspire pride through championship success," Wagnon said. "Most importantly, we never forget that our student-athletes are students first – a perspective that fosters growth and transformation beyond competition into the classroom and community. Your support of our student-athletes and athletic programs has never been more important to continue building on our tradition of excellence."

The BAC will provide financial resources for championship pursuits, scholarships and academic support, as well as facility and equipment upgrades to strengthen the Broncho experience and support 400-plus student-athletes across 14 sports. Resources will also directly benefit BAC members through exclusive opportunities, upgrades to premium areas, improved hospitality efforts and enhanced gameday experiences for our best supporters, in addition to dedicated support from a full-time Athletics development professional. Most importantly, every dollar of BAC donations will benefit UCO Athletics exclusively.

Interested supporters can sign up today by contacting Athletics Director of Development, Daina Knoblock (405-974-3432, or, dknoblock@uco.edu), or by visiting the Broncho Athletic Club website.
