Basketball Media Day Set For Tuesday In Kansas City

Hannah Moeller and Bob Hoffman Will Address Media Tuesday At 11:45 a.m.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – MIAA Basketball Media Day presented by Seigfreid Bingham is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6 at the College Basketball Experience.
 
Central Oklahoma head women's basketball coach Hannah Moeller and head men's coach Bob Hoffman will both be in attendance and take the stage to speak with the media during the event.
 
MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy will begin the day-long event with opening comments at 9 a.m. At that time, the MIAA Preseason Coaches' Poll and the MIAA Preseason Media Poll will be announced.
 
Central Oklahoma's two hoops head coaches will take the stage at 11:45 a.m. to answer questions from the media.
 
Moeller begins her second season at Central Oklahoma in 2026-27. The 12th-year head coach has 317 career victories and is aimed at improving the Broncho program with six returning letter winners, including four starters back.
 
Hoffman enters his eighth season leading UCO. He's won 130 games for the Bronchos, one MIAA title, and led Central to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. Hoffman has 649 all-time wins as a men's head coach and 737 wins as a college basketball coach. He returns eight lettermen from last year's squad.
 
The men's team opens the 2026-27 season first. The Bronchos are playing in the D2CCA Tipoff Classic in Wisconsin Oct. 30 – Nov. 1. The women's opener is Nov. 9 at Hamilton Field House. Both team's home opener is the Nov. 9 date when the women tipoff against Southwestern Christian and the men play Texas A&M Texarkana.
