Bronchos Lose Home Finale

Central Oklahoma Drops Hamilton Field House Finale 79-44 To Central Missouri

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma got behind early and struggled to keep up with Central Missouri Saturday afternoon in a 79-44 loss at Hamilton Field House.

UCO is now 9-17 on the season and 4-13 in the MIAA. The Bronchos have two games left in the 2025-26 season, next week at Arkansas Fort Smith on Thursday night and at Northeastern State Saturday afternoon.

The Jennies from Warrensburg, Mo. are 21-5 this season and 15-2 in the MIAA. Central Missouri could be the 2025-26 MIAA Champion with two more wins next week.

Bobbie Fouquet's layup two minutes into the game gave the Bronchos a 2-1 lead. But Kaitlyn McCarn's turnaround jumper was the next UCO basket and that made it 16-6 with two minutes left in the first quarter.

UCM led 21-8 at the first break and stretched the lead to 39-15 by halftime. The Bronchos went 3-for-13 in the first quarter and 3-for-21 in the second quarter.
