UCO Stumbles With Scorching Pitt State Squad

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma couldn't keep pace with a hot-shooting Pittsburg State team Saturday and lost 84-56 in the MIAA game at Hamilton Field House.

The Bronchos are now 7-10 on the season following the loss and 2-6 in the MIAA. UCO hits the road next week for games at Nebraska Kearney and at No. 6 Fort Hays State.

"The way the shot the ball today, they could've beaten anyone," UCO head women's coach Hannah Moeller said. "We didn't have it today and that coupled with their shooting was a bad combination. We need to just move on and get ready for the next one."

Central Oklahoma shot 30.9 percent from the floor, 22.7 percent from behind the 3-point line making 5 of 22 shots from deep and did go 9-for-11 at the free-throw line.
