Basketball Season Ticket Renewals Open

2024-25 Schedules Released; Season Tickets Available

EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma athletics department announced basketball season ticket information this week in conjunction with the release of the 2024-25 schedules for both the men's and women's programs.
 
The Broncho women will play 12 home games inside Hamilton Field House this season, with the men's squad hosting 16 games in the historic venue on campus. Season ticket sales will once again be available for all 28 basketball contests this season.
 
SEASON TICKET RENEWALS
 
Hoops fans that previously purchased season tickets will have first dibs on renewing for 2024-25 at the discounted price of $100. The renewal period is open immediately and will run through Sept. 15.
 
NEW SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
 
Fans interested in becoming UCO Basketball season ticket holders can do so beginning Sept. 16 following the renewal period. UCO athletics is offering the same discount ($100) for new season ticket holders if purchased by Oct. 15. Fans that purchase new season tickets after Oct. 15 will pay the full price of $125 per ticket.
 
LET THE GAMES BEGIN
 
UCO's women have two local, big non-conference home games this season, hosting Southern Nazarene (Nov. 19) and Southwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 23) at Hamilton. A total of 10 MIAA games are scheduled in Edmond this season and each will precede a men's game as part of a doubleheader.
 
The men's team will play six non-conference games at Hamilton Field House. The Bronchos are hosting a Central Region Challenge Nov. 8-9 with Mary (N.D.) and Northwestern Oklahoma State coming to Edmond to meet the Bronchos.
 
UCO will also host West Texas A&M (Nov. 14), Science & Arts (Nov. 25), UT Dallas (Dec. 1), and Williams Baptist (Jan. 2) as part of its non-conference schedule. The Bronchos will play 10 MIAA contests at Hamilton as part of the league doubleheaders with the women.

More information will also be shared closer to the end of the renewal period (Sept. 15) and the end of the new sales discount period (Oct. 15).
 
THE MIAA
 
Central Oklahoma has been a member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association since 2012, with the men's team claiming UCO's lone basketball title in 2022. The league is known as a national power, with six national champions since 2012.
 
The MIAA is made up of schools from Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas. UCO, Northeastern State, and Rogers State make up the three Oklahoma schools while Nebraska Kearney is the lone representative from that state. Fort Hays State, Newman, Emporia State, Washburn, and Pittsburg State make up the Kansas schools, and Missouri Southern, Missouri Western, Central Missouri, and Northwest Missouri make up the schools from that state. Arkansas Fort Smith is the league's newest member as the first school from Arkansas to join the MIAA.
 
Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State will make an appearance in Edmond this season, as well as Rogers State, Newman, Northeastern State, Arkansas Fort Smith, Fort Hays State, Nebraska Kearney, Northwest Missouri, and Missouri Western.
