KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The MIAA announced Wednesday fans can purchase a 2024-25 All-Access Pass for The MIAA Network beginning Monday, Aug. 19 with a two-day flash sale.
The league announced subscription rates for the new year will remain consistent with last year's pricing, but fans can save more by signing up August 19-20 for $10 off the $140 league pass. Similar to entertainment packages like MLB's Extra Innings or the NBA's League Pass, the MIAA Network and its 14 member institutions broadcast live events in football, soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, wrestling, softball, and baseball. More than 1,500 events were broadcast live in 2023-24 on the MIAA Network.
Fans can watch the MIAA Network from the comfort of their homes on Roku and Amazon Fire TVs, as well as on any mobile device or computer at themiaanetwork.com.
All-Access Pass holders can watch any game broadcast by any school on the MIAA Network, live or on demand, including MIAA Championship broadcasts. A Monthly Access Pass is also available for $30 and will allow customers to watch any event during their respective one-month period. Fans can also watch individual broadcasts for a one-time cost of $15.
A new feature for the MIAA Network this year will be a channel designated for MIAA Premium Games and Events. This channel will feature MIAA non-conference matchups and all MIAA championship events. The feature allows MIAA institutions to have the opportunity to implement dynamic pricing for designated, non-conference matchups broadcast on the MIAA Network. Pricing for these games will be higher than the individual passes on the Network while Monthly and All-Access subscribers will be able to watch these premium games and events as part of their subscription service. This dynamic and market-driven pricing structure will be primarily directed at non-MIAA institutions and fans visiting the Network to watch just one or two contests each year.
The MIAA has used Hudl (formerly BlueFrame) as its exclusive streaming partner for the past five academic years and in the fall of 2021, became the first Division II conference to have all content behind a paywall. In addition, the MIAA became Hudl's first collegiate client to surpass $2 million in gross receipts. In 2023-24, the MIAA distributed nearly $700,000 in Network revenue to its member athletic departments.
