EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma football game against Oklahoma Baptist scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wantland Stadium has been canceled due to health & safety protocols.
The exhibition game will not be made up and Central Oklahoma's spring practice/playing season comes to an end.
The Bronchos, which beat Southern Nazarene 30-26 two weeks ago, was set to play Oklahoma Baptist for the first time ever Saturday. Central was playing a two-game spring exhibition schedule in lieu of its tradition fall season that was canceled altogether.
UCO will now head into the offseason and turn its attention to the 2021 season, scheduled to begin in September.
