Bronze-Blue Intrasquad Dual Set For Sunday

Central Oklahoma previews its 2019-20 wrestling team at 2 p.m. Sunday when the Bronchos hold their annual Bronze-Blue dual at Hamilton Field House.

UCO will host a free youth clinic on the mat before the dual, which will feature 12 matches. Admission is free.

"There will be a lot of interesting matches," head coach Todd Steidley said. "We're looking forward to getting out of the practice room and letting our fans see the guys in action.

"We've got a good group and they've really been working hard getting ready for the season."

Two of the more intriguing matches will happen at 133 and 149 pounds.

Returning starter Noah McQuigg will face junior college transfer Gage Gomez in one of two matches at 133, while returning starter Brik Filippo and West Virginia transfer Zachary Moore square off at 149.
