UCO edges past Dallas Baptist

DALLAS - Jordan London hit four 3-pointers, scored 22 points, and Central Oklahoma beat Dallas Baptist 78-72 on Saturday.

The Bronchos (3-0) had four players in double figures on the night. Marquis Johnson scored 15, and Josh Holliday and Corbin Byford each had 11.

UCO led wire-to-wire in the game, ballooning its lead to as much as 14 late in the first half. The Bronchos led 38-30 at halftime.

London is scoring 15.3 points per game on the young season. The sophomore has led the Bronchos in scoring in two of three games. He was 7-of-14 from the floor on Saturday, knocking down 4-of-8 from deep and all four free throws he attempted.

Johnson was 2-of-2 from deep, and the freshman hit all five of his free throws. Johnson is averaging 10 points per game and five assists per game through three games.

UCO is off until next Saturday, when the Bronchos host Rogers State at Hamilton Field House at 3 p.m.
