Originally from Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and a Berryhill High School graduate, Boone comes to UCO after spending the previous three seasons at Southwestern Oklahoma State. Boone is no stranger to the MIAA. She took a job as assistant softball coach at Oklahoma Baptist for the 2022 season, helping the Bison to a then DII school record 33 wins. Boone spent that season working under Sam Maples, who was named UCO head softball coach in June 2025.
