Clayton Stockett joined the University of Central Oklahoma in April 2024 and serves as assistant athletic trainer for the Bronchos. 

Stockett comes to UCO after spending the previous 10 years at his alma mater, Dallas Baptist, where he worked primarily with the men's basketball team, in addition to the men's and women's golf programs.

Before returning to DBU, Stockett spent three years at Oklahoma Baptist. While at OBU, Stockett gained work experience covering a variety of sports, including volleyball, women’s basketball, and lacrosse.

Stockett is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association (SWATA), and the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association (TSATA). He also has certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and is a certified L-1 Dry Needling provider through Structure & Function.

Stockett received his undergraduate degree from Union University (Tennessee), earning a bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2008. He then went to Dallas Baptist, and soon received his master's degree in education in 2011.

Stockett is married (Jennifer) and has two daughters (Caroline and Stella).
