Alby Lindon joined the University of Central Oklahoma in August 2023 and serves as head athletic trainer.

He oversees the sports medicine needs for each of UCO's 14 varsity sports programs, managing pre- and post-practice needs in addition to game days and working with local medical professionals.

Lindon came to UCO from Tulane, where he spent the previous 10 years providing medical coverage and overseeing all aspects of healthcare for the Green Wave's football and sailing teams. Lindon moved over to football during the spring of 2018 after previously serving as the athletic trainer for the Wave's men's basketball program since his arrival in 2013.

Lindon spent one year at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee prior to his time at Tulane. He spent three years before that working for the University of Memphis.

A native of Pensacola, Fla., Lindon was an athletic training student and earned his bachelor of science degree in athletic training from the University of West Florida. He received his master's degree from the California University of Pennsylvania.

He has been a certified athletic trainer and member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) since 2009. He is also currently a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
