Injury-plagued senior hoping to end his career in style this season . . . Has wrestled sparingly throughout his career with a variety of ailments, but has the chance to be in the thick of a wide-open battle for the 165-pound starting berth . . . Exciting grappler who thrives on big-point moves and he has the ability to be a factor this year if he’s healthy.

2005-06: Missed the season to injury.

2004-05: Debuted at the Fort Hays State Open and won his first two matches before suffering season-ending knee injury.

2003-04:  Redshirted while competing in several open tournaments.

2002-03:  Didn't make his debut until a Feb. 7 dual with Nebraska-Omaha and helped UCO topple the Mavericks with a clutch second-period fall . . . Placed sixth at the Midwest Regional and finished 4-4.

High School:  Four-year standout at Chickasha High School, finishing with a stellar 126-18 career record . . . Claimed state title and earned All-State honors after going 37-0 as a senior . . . Also earned All-Conference acclaim in soccer for state championship team.
 
Personal:  An industrial safety major looking to become a firefighter . . . Enjoys motorcycles and wakeboarding in his spare time . . . Names Lance Armstrong as his favorite athlete . . . Birthdate is Feb. 3, 1984.
