Senior star and defending national champion who ranks as one of the premiere 141-pounders in the country, regardless of division . . . Three-time All-American and a supremely talented, versatile wrestler equally productive whether on his feet or on the mat . . . Gives up points grudgingly and is capable of scoring in bunches with the ability to post a bonus-point win in every match . . . Owns a wide range of takedown moves and has no peer when in control on the mat . . . Hard-working team leader coming off an historic junior season who has his sights set on becoming one of UCO’s all-time bests . . . Enters his final campaign with a 39-match winning streak, needing nine more to break the school record of 47 straight wins . . . Has won 61 of his last 63 matches and already ranks 23rd on the school’s career win list with a 93-18 record . . . 2006-07: Became the first individual in the school’s illustrious history to complete a full season undefeated, putting together a perfect 39-0 record en route to winning the national championship and leading the Bronchos to their 15th team title . . . Racked up 18 bonus-point wins with 11 major decisions, six technical falls and one pin while giving up just eight offensive points . . . Had a staggering 99-4 advantage in takedowns and a 36-0 edge in near-falls while posting 11 shutouts . . . Won three regular-season tournament titles, including a 5-0 performance at the Missouri Open that included wins over two ranked Division I opponents . . . Didn’t allow an offensive point at the Midwest Regional for the second straight year, winning back-to-back 16-0 technical falls and a 13-5 major decision in the finals . . . Was ranked No. 1 all season and made it stand up with four straight wins at the national tournament . . . Opened with 9-1 and 13-0 major decisions, then survived a tense 4-2 overtime win over West Liberty State’s Doug Surra in the semifinals, getting the winning takedown seconds into the sudden-death period . . . Capped his season with an easy 7-0 finals triumph over Shippensburg’s Steve Fittery . . . Was the easy pick as the Midwest Regional Wrestler of the Year.

2005-06: Enjoyed a stellar season en route to 30-5 record and national runner-up finish . . . Won a second straight Midwest Regional crown and didn’t give up an offensive point in winning three straight matches at the national tournament to make the finals before dropping a tough 4-2 decision to Pittsburgh-Johnstown’s Thad Benton . . . Collected a team-high 71 takedowns and had 11 bonus-point wins . . . Also won tournament titles at the Central Missouri and Fort Hays State opens . . . Won 22 of his last 24 matches, with the two losses by one and two points.

2004-05: Beat out a returning All-American for a spot in the lineup and went on to finish sixth at the national tournament . . . Went 14-3 in UCO’s first three tournaments, winning one title and finishing runner-up in another, and then missed nearly a month of action after Christmas to injury . . . Qualified for the national tournament with a championship effort at the Midwest Regional . . . Rebounded from a first-round loss at the national meet to win three straight consolation matches, including a 4-2 win over the defending champion, before losing two straight and settling for sixth . . . Finished 24-13 with six bonus-point wins. 2003-04: Redshirted while competing in several open tournaments, winning the 17-20 division at the Nebraska-Omaha Open.

High School: All-Stater and a state champion as a senior at North High School in Edmond . . . Finished with a 90-22 career record and was also a member of Oklahoma’s junior national freestyle team.
