Junior 174-pounder looking to be in the thick of the race for that starting assignment . . . Redshirted last year after spending the previous two seasons at Labette (Kan.) Community College.
 
Juco:  Saw limited duty during two-year career at Labette, which captured the national championship in 2012.
 
High School:  State qualifier as a senior at Southmoore High School.
 
Personal:  Criminal justice major . . . Birthdate is March 11, 1992.
