Biography

Third-year freshman capable of helping the Bronchos at either 141 or 149 pounds … Redshirted his first year, then saw limited action last year and retained a year of eligibility when the NCAA didn’t count the COVID-shortened season.

2020-21: Competed in two exhibitions during the dual season, going 1-1 with a second-period fall.

2019-20: Saw plenty of action during redshirt year, going 10-8 while competing in five open tournament … Wrestled at 141 in first four of those, then was runner-up in Norsemen Open at 149.

High School: Capped 49-4 senior season with Class 3A state championship at Marlow High School … All-State selection.

Personal: Biomedical engineering major … Sister (Kaytlyn) plays softball at East Central and uncle (Keith) was a two-time All-American for the Bronchos in the mid-1990s … Names the New England Patriots as his favorite team … Birthdate is June 15, 2000.
