Senior veteran and a former starter who will contend for the top spot at 184 pounds this season . . . Is in his fifth year with the Bronchos, having lettered three times while also sitting out a redshirt year . . . Has plenty of experience and is a tremendous athlete intent on ending his career in style . . . Started at 184 pounds as a true freshman in 2005-06 and then redshirted the next year before seeing limited action the past two seasons.

2008-09:  Went 0-6 while wrestling in three open tournaments.

2007-08:  Finished 9-9 with four falls in three tournaments and five duals . . . Placed fourth in the season-opening Central Missouri Open.

2006-07:  Redshirted.

2005-06:  Was UCO’s top 184-pounder all season, finishing 24-19 with five bonus-point wins . . . Was runner-up at the Colorado Collegiate Invitational and took sixth at the Midwest Regional . . . Rebounded from a first-round loss at the regional to win two straight before suffering back-to-back losses in taking sixth.

High School:? Three-time state placer at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., finishing with a 169-17 career record . . . Went a perfect 43-0 in capturing state title as a senior and was named state Wrestler of the Year . . . Also a two-time All-State pick in football.
