Biography

Two-time junior college All-American and a prime contender for the 125-pound starting assignment if he can recover from a pre-season shoulder injury . . . Proven winner who placed in national tournament at two different jucos . . . Explosive lightweight eager to get in  the lineup and show what he’s capable of.
 
Juco:  Started career at Labette (Kan.) Community College and went 35-7 for national championship team . . . Won regional title and went 6-1 at national tournament en route to third-place finish . . . Was named Outstanding Wrestler in the NWCA Junior College National Duals . . . Placed in four regular season tournaments, winning the Oklahoma City Open . . . Transferred to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M last year and helped the Norsemen to the national crown . . . Captured a second regional championship and was national runner-up, suffering the lone loss in 18-1 season in the finals.
 
High School:  Enjoyed sensational career at Union High School in Tulsa, compiling 154 wins and 63 falls in making the Class 6A state finals four times . . . Won state titles as a freshman, sophomore and senior at three different weights in helping Redskins claim a pair of team championships . . . Placed in prestigious Reno Tournament of Champions four times, winning it once . . . All-State selection as a senior.
