2005-06: Competed in five tournaments and seven duals, seeing some action at 141, and finished 22-9 with 10 bonus-point wins . . . Was runner-up at the Oklahoma and Fort Hays State opens while taking fourth at the Colorado Collegiate Invitational and fifth at the Central Missouri State Open.

2004-05: Started all year at 133, finishing 29-18 and earning All-America honors with a seventh-place national finish . . . Led the team with 11 bonus-point wins, collecting a team-high six falls and adding five major decisions . . . Earned national tournament berth with third-place finish at the Midwest Regional . . . Opened the national meet with a win, then lost in the quarterfinals before bouncing back with an 11-8 win in his first consolation match . . . Lost again to drop into the seventh-place match and rolled to a 10-1 major decision in that bout . . . Placed in three regular season tournaments - - second at the Oklahoma Open, fourth at the Fort Hays State Open and fifth at the Central Missouri State Open.

2003-04: Went 9-9 at 125 while starting the first part of the season . . . Got off to an impressive start, rolling to five straight wins in winning the season-opening Central Missouri State Open.

2002-03: Redshirted while competing in several open tournaments.

High School: Prep star at Tuttle High School, winning three state titles and finishing 132-16 with 64 falls . . . Was 43-3 as a senior in earning All-State honors . . . Two-time state qualifier in cross country.

Personal: A general studies major and member of the UCO Dean's Honor Roll . . . Older brother (Jeff) was a two-time All-American for the Bronchos in 2002-03 and younger brother (Ryan) is a teammate on this year's squad . . . Birthdate is June 26, 1983.
