Freshman middleweight who provides good depth.

High School:  Enjoyed fantastic career at Arkansas City (Kan.) High School, compiling a 142-20 record with 54 falls ... Four-time state placer and two-time state champion for the Bulldogs ... Placed third as a freshman and was runner-up as a sophomore before winning titles his last two years ... Went 46-2 during junior campaign and was perfect 29-0 as a senior while not allowing an offensive point, winning technical fall in state finals ... Finished career with 45-match winning streak ... Also placed fourth in state track meet in 400-meter relay while qualifying in the 400 and 1,600 relay.

Personal:  Mortuary sciences major ... Father (Chad) was two-year starter for UCO in the mid-1990s and helped the Bronchos to the 1995 national championship as a regional champion and national qualifier ...
