Third-year freshman set to once again be the main back-up at 184 pounds … Should see extended action this season and has shown a glimpse of what he’s capable of with offensive explosiveness … Redshirted in 2019-20, then retained year of eligibility after the NCAA didn’t count the 2020-21 season.

2020-21: Overwhelmed three opponents in exhibitions during dual season, notching falls in 0:31, 1:22 and 1:32.

2019-20: Wrestling in two open tournaments at 174 during redshirt year, finishing 5-2 … Was runner-up at the Oklahoma City Open, advancing to finals with two first-period falls and 18-3 technical fall before dropping 8-5 finals decision … Scored two opening-period pins at Lindenwood Open before losing, then withdrew for medical reasons.

High School: Two-time state placer at Norman North High School, finishing third as both a junior and senior … Had 33-3 record his final season.
