Senior All-American set to move down to 184 pounds after spending the past two seasons at 197 . . . Two-time national qualifier who looks to be a prime gold medal contender in 2007-08 . . . Came on strong down the stretch last year and should really benefit from that success as this veteran looks to end his career in style . . . Athletic big man with great strength and quickness who should be a big-time point producer . . . Spent two years playing football at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M before coming to UCO in the spring of 2005 and returning to the mat.

2006-07: Started all year at 197 for the second consecutive season and earned All-America honors with a fifth-place national finish . . . Put together a 24-11 campaign that included nine bonus-point wins . . . Captured the Fort Hays State Open crown and was runner-up at the Central Missouri Open . . . Ended the dual season with a back-to-back major decisions and followed that with a three-match sweep in winning the Midwest Regional title . . . Was unranked entering the national tournament, but went 4-2 with wins over three rated wrestlers in finishing fifth . . . Had 4-0 first-round win over No. 8 Ben Janike of Minnesota State-Mankato, scored a stunning second-period pin of No. 2 Derek Brunson of North Carolina-Pembroke in the consolations and beat No. 1 Casey Woodall of Adams State 3-2 in the fifth-place match.

2005-06: Started all season and finished 26-17 with six bonus-point wins . . . Qualified for the national tournament with a fourth-place finish at the Midwest Regional . . . Lost two straight matches to eventual All-Americans at the national meet . . . Placed third in the Colorado Collegiate Invitational and was fifth at the Central Missouri Open . . . Earned Academic Scholar-Athlete honors by the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association.

Juco: All-Conference special teams performer at juco powerhouse NEO while also seeing action at fullback.

High School: Two-time state champion at Skiatook High School, finishing with a 130-10 career record . . . Earned All-State honors while also picking up All-District recognition in football.

Personal: A kinesiology major . . . Enjoys rock climbing and wakeboarding among his favorite hobbies . . . Birthdate is Oct. 7, 1983.
