Biography

Returning 197-pound starter who will battle to keep his spot in the lineup … Started all last year after seeing spot starting duty the previous two seasons and has 44-18 career record with 19 bonus-point wins … Athletic veteran who excels on his feet and has ability to be a real force for the Bronchos … Redshirted his first year, then was key back-up the next two seasons before starting all of last year.

2024-25: Went 17-9 with eight bonus wins as main starter … Captured Drury Open title with 11-2 rout and two decisions … Lost four matches to eventual All-Americans … Finished sixth at Super Regional IV Tournament to fall short of qualifying for nationals … Started that meet with first-period fall, then fell in overtime … Came back with two wins to make consolation semifinals before dropping last two matches.

2023-24: Started the entire first semester and saw spot duty in the second, finishing 21-8 with 10 bonus-point wins … Went 3-0 to win Drury Open title, claiming 17-10 win in the finals … Runner-up in the Broncho Open and fourth in the Lindenwood Open … Also placed seventh in the prestigious Midwest Classic, going 6-2 with three bonus wins in that rugged event … Won five straight consolation matches after suffering second-round loss, including 13-4 major decision over eventual national qualifier Wyatt Miller of Grand Valley State.

2022-23: Wrestled seven duals in second semester and went 6-1, with lone loss a 10-5 setback to eventual third-place national finisher Tereus Henry of Fort Hays State … Pulled out key wins to help the Bronchos get past Adams State and Nebraska-Kearney in final two duals of the season.

2021-22: Went 13-2 with six bonus wins in three open tournaments with top-three finishes in each event during redshirt year … Captured freshman-sophomore title in Lindenwood Open with 5-3 finals victory over eventual Division II national qualifier Chase Stegal of Maryville … Overcame first-round loss to take third in Viking Open and also came in third at Dan Harris Open … Won his last nine matches.

High School: Prep standout at Broken Arrow High School, finishing with 116-12 career record … Three-time Class 6A state finalist, winning two titles … All-State pick as a senior.

Personal: Sociology major … Enjoys cooking as a hobby … Names the Carolina Panthers as his favorite team … Birthdate is Dec. 14, 2002.
