Biography

Returning letterman expected to be top contender for starting berth at 125 pounds … Lettered in back-up role at 133 last year, but is dropping down this year and has ability to make a major impact … Has seen plenty of mat time the past two years in gaining valuable experience and will only continue to improve … Showcases aggressive, attacking style that results in plenty of bonus-point wins … Competed in U20 World Championships in Greco-Roman for Puerto Rico National Team in 2024.

2024-25: Had fabulous 20-4 record with 16 bonus-point victories while seeing action in eight duals and three open tournaments … Earned 11-2 major decision over eventual national qualifier James Wright of Central Missouri in UCO’s late-season dual win over the Mules … Lost twice to eventual All-American James Anderson of Ouachita Baptist (5-3 and 5-1) and dropped 8-2 decision to eventual national champion Reece Barnhardt of Mary … Captured Roger Denker Open title with dominating performance, outscoring four opponents a combined 63-8 with three technical falls and a finals major decision … Took third in Drury Open with only loss a semifinal setback to Anderson … Went 5-1 at season-opening Falcon Open before reaching six-match limit.

2023-24: Went 10-3 with seven bonus wins in three open tournaments … Was co-third with teammate Guy Clevenger in the Broncho Open at 125, then bumped up to 133 for last two events … Went 3-0 to claim Golden Norse Open title and took fourth in the Drury Open.

High School: Four-time state placer at Guthrie High School, finishing with 118-21 career mark … Went 68-3 his last two years in claiming back-to-back state championships and earning All-State accolades … Also lettered in football and track for the Bluejays.

Personal: Kinesiology major … Has five sisters, including one  who was a two-time state champion at GHS … Names “Creed II” as his favorite sports movie … Birthdate is Dec. 20, 2004.
