Second-year freshman looking to contend at 149 pounds … Gained needed experience last year and will continue to improve with more mat time … Retained a year of eligibility after the NCAA didn’t count the shortened 2020-21 campaign.

2020-21: Dominated in two exhibition matches during duals, earning a first-period fall and 17-2 technical fall.

High School: Prep star at long-time powerhouse Perry High School, finishing as the school’s all-time wins leader with 174-26 record … Four-time state placer, winning three titles… Went 44-8 with 21 falls as a senior and finished with 95 career pins … All-State pick last year.

Personal: Business major … Enjoys fishing as his main hobby … Names “The Longest Yard” as his favorite sports movie .. Birthdate is Sept. 11, 2001.
