Redshirt freshman looking to be in the thick of a wide-open battle for the starting position at 149 pounds . . . Picked up valuable experience during redshirt year last season and should continue to improve.

High School: Oklahoma Big All-City pick and an All-Stater as a senior at Putnam City High School . . . Finished 32-5 and was the Class 5A state runner-up his final year . . . Also lettered in baseball and golf.
