Biography

Senior lightweight who will challenge for starting berth at 125 pounds … Wrestled just one match last year at 133, but is looking to drop down and push for the top spot … Started college career at North Carolina and was there one year before transferring to Oklahoma ... Redshirted in 2016-17 for the Sooners and then went to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M the following season, earning All-America honors.

2018-19: Battled injuries all year and earned 8-3 win at 133 in dual win over Fort Hays State in only match of the season.

Juco: Finished 38-10 at NEO in 2016-17, winning a regional championship and placing eighth in the national tournament to help the Norse capture the team title.

High School: Four-time state placer at Charles Page High School, finishing as runner-up twice ... Four-time junior nationals All-American ... Also a football letterman for the Sandites.

Personal: Education major looking to become a teacher and coach ... Brother (Jack) was an All-American teammate at NEO ... Father (Alan) wrestled at Brigham Young ... Enjoys disc golf as a hobby ... Birthdate is Aug. 4, 1996.
