Biography

Junior college transfer who could challenge for the top spot at 184 pounds . . . Missed last year with a knee injury, but is a gritty competitor capable of stepping into the lineup and having an impact . . . Has three years of eligibility left and is anxious to get back on the mat and contribute.

Juco:  Spent three years at Labette (Kan.) Community College, redshirting his first year before earning national runner-up honors at 174 in 2009-10 . . . Sat out last year with knee injury.

High School:  Two-time Class 6A state placer at Norman North High School, finishing third as a junior and second as a senior.

Personal:  A criminal justice major with the goal of becoming a U.S. Marshall . . . Lists the Dallas Cowboys as his top professional team . . .Birthdate is Sept. 6, 1989.
