Senior standout and returning All-American ready to polish off career in style … Showed last season he’s capable of competing for the national championship and is determined to do just that … Started his first two years before filling back-up role in 2020-21, then regained No. 1 slot last season … Gritty, hard-working middleweight and proven senior veteran who knows what it takes to win close matches … Owns 71-21 career record with 29 bonus-point victories … Retained year of eligibility after the NCAA didn’t count the shortened 2020-21 season.

2021-22: Put together sensational junior campaign, finishing 28-4 with 10 bonus wins … Had winning streaks of 13 and nine straight during the season … Earned trip to nationals with championship effort at the Super Regional IV Tournament … Opened that meet with 16-1 technical fall, then had 6-4 semifinal win before edging Logan Bailey of Indianapolis 5-4 in the finals … Started national tournament with 6-2 and 2-1 wins to make the semifinals before losing tough 3-2 decision to eventual champion Noah Hermosillo of Adams State … Dropped second straight decision with 5-3 setback in consolation semis, but bounced back to trim Bailey 6-5 in fifth-place bout … Had two falls, a technical fall and major decision in winning season-opening Dan Harris Open … Was runner-up in both the Lindenwood Open and Midwest Classic.

2020-21: Wrestled in two duals, winning both.

2019-20: Ended season 19-9 with nine bonus-point wins … Had technical fall and two major decisions in runner-up finish at Oklahoma City Open and placed eighth in rugged Midwest Classic … Earned national tournament berth with hard-earned third-place finish at Super Regional IV Tournament … Breezed into semifinals with two easy wins before losing there, then pulled out last-second 10-9 consolation semifinal win … Secured bronze medal with 4-0 shutout to qualify for nationals, but was denied chance to compete for All-America status when that tournament was cancelled by the coronavirus pandemic.

2018-19: Enjoyed solid season as redshirt freshman, finishing 22-8 with 10 bonus-point wins … Had five falls, including one in just 11 seconds … Won season-opening Oklahoma City Open and was runner-up at the Nebraska-Kearney Open … Went 11-3 in duals, beating eventual All-American Isaiah Kemper of McKendree in one of those … Lost two overtime matches to eventual All-Americans in finishing fourth at the Super Regional IV Tournament to just miss out on qualifying for nationals …

2017-18: Went 9-6 with five falls and three technical falls while competing unattached in three open tournaments during redshirt year ... Four of five falls came in first period, including one in 24 seconds.

High School: Two-time state champion at powerhouse Tuttle High School, helping the Tigers win the team title both years . . . All-State selection as a senior.
