Senior All-American capable of contending for the 184-pound national  championship … Made late-season drop to 174 last year in earning All-America honors, but is scheduled to be at 184 in 2022-23 and should thrive … Athletic grappler with great explosiveness and can be a dominating force for the Bronchos … Enjoyed stellar career at juco powerhouse Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, then spent two years at Oklahoma State before coming to UCO … Retained year of eligibility after the NCAA didn’t count shortened 2000-21 season.

2021-22: Put together 29-8 record with 14 bonus-point wins while seeing action at 174, 184 and 197 … Spend most of the season at 184 filling in for injured starter Heath Gray, going 24-3 at the weight … Dropped to 174 for the postseason and earned national tournament berth with third-place finish in Super Regional IV Tournament … Won 6-5 overtime decision in first round, then lost 3-2 decision in semifinals before rebounding with 7-0 and 5-3 wins to claim third … Opened nationals with stunning 10-2 major decision upset of No. 2 seed Cade Mueller of Augustana … Knocked off No. 7 seed Joseph Pantrella of Gannon 3-1 in sudden victory to make the semifinals, falling 3-2 in OT tiebreaker there … Lost next two matches to finish sixth in earning All-America honors, falling 13-9 in OT in fifth-place bout … Had two falls and 14-3 major decision in winning season-opening Dan Harris Open … Also cruised to title at Golden Norse Open while finishing third in Viking Open, Lindenwood Open and Midwest Classic … Went 5-1 with two falls at Midwest Classic in helping UCO to team title … Lone appearance at 197 came against St. Cloud State in NWCA Division II National Duals finals and held his own in 5-1 loss to No. 2-ranked Nolan Ryan as Bronchos claimed 19-14 victory.

OSU: Saw limited action in two years with the Cowboys.

Juco: Finished with 80-14 career record in two years with the Norse … Finished fifth at 184 as a freshman in helping NEO capture the team national championship and placed fourth the next season.

High School: Enjoyed sensational career at Vinita High School as a four-time state placer … Made the finals three times and won two state titles in finishing with 145-15 career record … All-State pick on the mat and also played football and ran track for the Hornets.
