Biography

FreshmRedshirt freshman with a chance to really help at 141 pounds … Had excellent success while seeing extensive action during redshirt year in gaining much-needed experience and should benefit from that this season.

2024-25: Wrestled 26 matches while competing in five open tournaments, finishing 22-4 with an astounding 20 bonus-point wins … Went 4-0 with three technical falls and 13-1 major decision in capturing Viking Open title … Runner-up in Drury Open, marching into finals with three bonus wins and 9-6 decision before falling 4-3 to teammate Josh Taylor in title bout … Went 4-1 with four bonus wins in taking third at the Oklahoma Wesleyan … Also placed third at Roger Denker Open, going 5-1 with four bonus victories … Had five bonus wins in 5-1 performance at Falcon Open before reaching six-match limit.

High School: Racked up 166-25 career record at Andover High School, the fifth-most wins in Kansas history … Won back-to-back state championships at 138 his final two years, going 51-1 as a junior and 53-3 last season … Also a baseball and cross country letterman for the Trojans.

Personal: Finance major … Older brother Gabe is a junior teammate with the Bronchos … Has three other siblings who all competed in college athletics – brother Lukas (wrestling), brother Jack (baseball) and sister McKenzie (cross country) … Enjoys hiking as a hobby … Names Mac Miller as his favorite musician … Birthdate is July 24, 2005.
