Biography
Senior star ready to fill the role as UCO’s No. 1 singles player . . . Ranks as one of the premier players in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and is ready for a banner final season . . . Will also be a force at No. 1 doubles with Alina Gorina . . . Fierce competitor and powerful hitter with a well-rounded game who will gives the Bronchos great strength at the top of the lineup . . . Transferred to UCO last year after a stellar two-year career at William Carey and had a huge impact in helping lead the team to a 17-4 record and national tournament berth.
2012-13: Started her UCO career in impressive fashion in the fall by 2012 by winning three matches in making the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Central Regional before falling to the No. 1 seed . . . Was a combined 30-8 in the spring to earn honorable mention All-MIAA accolades in both singles and doubles . . . Went 14-4 at No. 2 singles, including 7-2 in league play . . . Teamed with Gorina for a 16-4 record at No. 2 doubles that including a 9-2 mark in conference play.
William Carey: Helped lead the Crusaders of Hattiesburg, Miss. to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament two straight years . . . Went 13-6 in singles and 12-10 in doubles as a freshman in 2010-11 . . . Came back in 2011-12 to go a combined 33-14, finishing 17-6 in singles and 16-8 in doubles . . . Won 15 of 16 singles matches during one stretch.
