Jovan Petrovic

Jovan Petrovic joined the University of Central Oklahoma soccer program in 2024 and serves as assistant coach.

In his first season, Petrovic helped UCO make a run at the MIAA Championship. UCO finished runners-up in the league's postseason championship and qualified for the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship, where Central advanced to the Central Regional semifinals. 

Petrovic came to UCO from Tulsa, where he has spent the previous two years as co-Technical Director and coach at the Tulsa Soccer Club. Petrovic spent one season prior to that coaching at Booker T. Washington High School (2021).

He was an assistant coach at Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville, Oklahoma from 2018-20. He helped the team put together a 46-15-5 overall record in three seasons, including a 20-4-0 mark in 2019 when they made the national tournament. Petrovic coached two All-Americans, two conference MVPs, and three defensive players of the year in the KCAC. OKWU was also national runners-up in 2018 at the NCCAA national tournament. 
 
Petrovic played for OKWU and was an NAIA All-American during his college career. He received his bachelor’s degree in general business in 2018 and his master’s degree in marketing in 2020, both from Oklahoma Wesleyan.
